SOLD Really Different Happy Buddhas Parure - Molded and Painted Black Glass

This very well-made set, which is probably from the 60s, is certainly something a little bit different from the norm; the serene smiling buddhas are carved on black glass ovals, with the detailing painted in gold, red, white and pale celadon green. The setting is textured gold-tone, and all the pieces are in excellent condition. This set is not signed. The bracelet has a strong spring hinge, and a very firm safety-catch. It is just over 6 inches internal circumference, and the glass motif is 2 inches by 1 1/4 inches. The clip earrings are 1 1/4 inches long. The necklace chain is about 16 inches long, but is adjustable in length; the central pendant is enormous, 4 inches deep and 2 inches wide. This set makes quite a statement.
