19th C. Nippon Hand Painted Chocolate Pot Roses Lots of Gold

Beautiful chocolate pot is decorated with medallions of delicate pink roses, embossed and beaded gold and gold stencil over deep green. The fancy handle and finial are in the shape of a flower and vine and it stands on a scalloped pedestal base.

It stands 9.5" to top of finial and is in very good condition. There are two small chips on the inside bottom of the lid where they don't show and some slight loss of gold. Unmarked but without a doubt late 19th century Nippon.
