Antique Squeak Toy Cat Animal

A well worn and loved toy, this squeaker toy is made in the Victorian era and dates to the later 19th and early 20th century.

I think this is a cat, but could be a dog... you decide. He measures 4 1/2" tall, and his coat is worn in many areas. He also has numerous darker stains on the body. The head does push in, but he no longer squeaks. You can feel the mechanism and hear a rattle of the small parts inside. Missing one eye. It appears that the mouth is painted on.

While he has seen many years, this was obviously a cherished toy for a little boy or girl. On the lookout for a good home!!
