It measures a total of 15 1/4" long and 9 3/4" wide. The picture opening is 7 1/2" long and 5 1/2" wide with a picture of a fisherman harbor scene, The fisherman are working on baskets for the next trip. Sailing vessels are seen in the background. The picture is in deep reds, golds, and oranges. I imagine this to be at sunset.

The 'frame" is a dark brown with gold accents. The calendar for the year still retains its original cover page and all 12 months are still intact. The top of the calendar retains its original bow and hanging loop on the back. The back states "The Peoples Store Co Newark, NY".

It is in excellent condition, though there is a glob of ink or other material about 1/8" on the edge as seen in the pictures. There are no tears or rips. The calendar pages are clean and crisp.
