A classic Blenko Glass Company designed pitcher. This was designed by Winslow Anderson, Blenko's first official designer. It was first made in the later 1940's and continued in the line for many years thereafter.

The pitcher measures 13 1/2 " tall to the top of its elongated and slanted spout. Produced in charcoal, a harder to find color, this coloring was made from 1954-1958, and again in 1961-1962. I believe this was made in the 1950's as the coloring is darker and less hints of green than the later made charcoal. The interior has optics made by inflating the glass ball on the rod, deflating and inflating again. These ribs run the length of the interior of the base of the pitcher. The applied handle is crystal. The bottom sports a pontil. Very clean interior, no chips or cracks. There are a few light scuff marks on the outside but must be seen in brighter lighting.
