Wonderful Turquoise Leather High Button Shoes with Embroidered Toes

These sweet little child's high button boots are in very good condition. One of the toes has been mended and a small portion of the embroidery is gone from the mended shoe. They are a wonderful turquoise color and fasten up the sides with four darker turquoise buttons. On the toe of each shoe is an embroidered design of white and yellow daisies and dark turquoise leaves which match the color of the buttons. The missing embroidery is just the two little strands underneath the bottom of the middle daisy.

These little shoes were obviously much worn and are soiled and scuffed which gives them a wonderful patina. The leather is supple and soft.

The boots measure 5" long and are 1.5" wide across the instep. These would be perfect for a large antique doll.
