SALE Elegant Silverplate Art Deco Candle Holder~Final Reduction!

This candlestick stands 8 3/4" tall and the base is 4 1/2" wide at it's widest point. It was manufactured by the Weidlich Bros. Mfg. Co. and, based on the art decor motif on the candlestick, I would date this piece to the 1920's.

It has a wonderful hammered look and has great patina. There is a central design on the front and back of the candlestick showing a stylized floral medallion.

It's marked under the foot 2235 W.B. Mfg, and Pat Appld For USA. I believe it's weighted as it's fairly heavy.

There is one odd thing about this piece in that it seems to lean to the front. It doesn't seem to have been bent or damaged at any time, so it may have been the way it was manufactured. It still displays beautifully.
