Antique Edwardian Baby Coat

This little boy's Edwardian coat measures 20" from shoulder to hem and is 12" from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. The sleeves measure 12" in length.

Can't you just picture the little imp who wore this? The material seems to be a light cotton canvas, and it is lined in cotton lawn. The little collar has an embroidered white on white design, and the collar and belt are scalloped and embroidered as well. It fastens down the front with MOP buttons. One button is missing on the belt.

Condition: This sweet little coat is in excellent condition. There are no holes or dark staining. There is some overall yellowing or the fabric, but this may come out with a gentle laundering.
