This is a wonderful antique baby cape with a beautiful attached capelet . The cape is made of a ribbed, heavy fabric, and the entire piece is lined with a soft cotton flannel. The capelet and collar are decorated with gorgeous needle lace. It measures 27" long, and though there are no shoulders in this piece, it measures about 9" across where the cape would drape across the shoulders. This cape would be a perfect winter accessory for an antique bisque baby doll.

Condition: This cape is in excellent condition. There is one dark spot on the back, which is nearly covered by the capelet. I have not tried to remove the stain. It may or may not come out with laundering.
