SOLD Victorian Mourning Bodice and Skirt

This mourning outfit is very simple yet very elegant. It consists of a silk skirt and bodice. The bodice fastens up the front with tiny hook and eye closures and it has a tiny pocket on the chest. The back has a gathered detail at the small of the back. The skirt fastens in the back with hooks and eyes and has a series of seamed 'panels' sewn into the skirt. The bottom has 3 flat ruffles. It is made to be bustled in the back. Condition: Each of these pieces has condition issues. The bodice has a tear near the pocket and a worn spot in the back. The skirt has separated from the waistband in several places. I wouldn't call it fragile exactly, but it should not be worn but used for display only. Measurements: taken laying flat. Skirt: 39" long Waist-12"

Bodice: 17 1/2" back measurement from neck to hem 18" in front. The front is longer and has 'tails' to be tucked into the skirt. Sleeve-24" Shoulder to shoulder-14"
