Just Back from Auction with a Fabulous Collection of Victorian and Edwardian Clothing!
She comes dressed in a wonderful, antique wired baby bonnet, an antique 'white' baby gown, which has been dyed dark pink, and a sweet flannel embroidered baby jacket, and crocheted booties. Her facial painting is just beautiful with feathery, multi-stroke brows, beautifully blushed cheeks, and exquisitely detailed lips.
Her head is marked as shown.
Condition: Her head is free of hairlines and cracks. She does have a cheek rub on each cheek. I believe her eyes may have been reset, or at least reinforced. Her teeth are a bit off center..I can't tell if there should be three and one is missing, or if there were only two and they were set slightly off to one side. The wobble tongue mechanism makes it difficult to see the teeth inside the head. Her body has a repair to the foot, and there is a crack in the surface of the composition on her tummy. Her hands also have cracks in the compo. Her stringing is a tiny bit loose, and just needs to be tightened a bit. She holds a pose or position nicely.
