These little shoes are wonderfully made, and are just as sweet as they can be. They measure 7" long, 1" wide across the instep,2" wide at the ball of the foot. This piano stool stands 9.75" tall when the seat is not extended. By turning the seat, it extends to 13" tall. I'm not certain if it was originally made for a child or as a salesman's sample. I have an antique adult piano stool very similar to this one, and the detailing is the same. This little flat-top doll trunk measures 9.75" long, 4" tall, and 6" deep. It's wonderfully intact with it's original leather handles, lock (no key), interior drawer and interior paper lining. Inside the lid of the box is written the oddest little 'poem' which reads: " The old man and the old woman are mean. They are bad. Jump old man. Jump old woman." I found this sweet litle dress at an estate sale and there was a note pinned to it that said "for Betsy Wetsy". I did some checking, and indeed, it is an original Betsy Wetsy factory dress. The dress measures 6.75" from neck to hem, 4.5" across the waist, 2.25" neck opening. The only flaw I see is a small pinhole on the bodice which is where the note was pinned.
