This is a trivet for an iron. It is from the mid century. The piece is very uniform in shape. Appears to be factory made. But it does have the curly loops on the sides.The design is plain yet the wire is fancy. It has crimped wire to form the shape. It has three feet. The center is hooked and fitted. The back feet have wire wrapping to hold the curly loops in place. It is in good condition with strong old patina. No breaks in any wire. It does measure 9 1/2 inches in length and 4 3/4 inches wide ...
