This is a Vintage German Peasant Reeded Coiled Dough Bowl Basket. Not to be confused with Indian baskets! These are found in rural German countrysides. Very uncommon. At times you may find the six or eight rack, the 12 rack is very hard to find. Originally they would be in a glass case with the rack inside. Unfortunately, some people would separate the case from the rack and turn the case into a showcase. The wire is twisted and in good condition. This can be used to store and display dinner plates or pie tins. This is great to use for parties and major holidays for pumpkin pies!
