This vintage demi parure is a lovely brooch and earring set from the 1940's! It is made from gilt metal with both shiny and matte finishes. All the pieces are constructed with 2 and 3 layers. The petal shapes are riveted together in the centers. All are decorated with amethyst color rhinestones, as well as clear chatons.

Although unsigned, this set is beautifully designed and detailed. This attention to detail, with the use of various shapes and sizes of rhinestones, and the use of the different metal finishes, plus the layering distinguishes this set as a rather expensive one for its time.

The large brooch measures 3" long and 2 3/4" wide, and 1/2" deep. The earrings, which have screw backs, are 1 1/4" long, 1 1/8" wide, and 3/8" deep. The gilt on all the pieces has developed a soft patina over the years. This set is in very very fine vintage condition.
