This is a beautiful .57 center diamond ring. The polish is fine, the culet is pointed, and girdle width is thin. The stone has a strong blue fluorescence. It is H / I1 in color / clarity.

The original antique platinum setting is included and it is a dome style filigree mounting with 4 prongs. Troy weight is .08 oz. including the diamond. I had the original antique platinum setting and diamond appraised at Ashland Jewelers for $1600.00.

The owners of this estate ring had the original diamond reset in a white and yellow gold setting by Lasker Jewelers. 2 small diamonds were added on each side of the larger center stone. This is a beautiful plus ½ carat weight diamond ring. I am unsure of the carat weight of the additional side diamonds. The wedding band fits snuggly to the side of the diamond ring. Yellow gold bands are on both sides of the white gold center band. The prongs are all white gold.

This is a lovely set which can be returned to its original platinum setting by a competent jeweler. I am sure the prongs will need to be reworked. OR make it a second gorgeous ring by adding the gem of your choice! Oh my, the possibilities!!!!!!!!!

The platinum ring is a size 6 1/2 and the other set is a size 7 3/4.

In any case, you are getting the original platinum setting AND the yellow and white gold setting with the original appraised diamond and 2 additional side diamonds. Which brings the total to significantly over the original appraisal price, which remember, only included the platinum setting and center diamond.
