We are a Platinum shop with well over 1000+ sales. We have something for everyone!
SIZE: This bowl measures 4 3/4" high by 8 1/2" across the top.
CONDITION: It is in excellent condition--very shiny with only minor crazing. There is one area on the rim that has a flaw under the glaze that was part of the manufacturing process, I have greatly magnified it to show the manufacturing flaw. Otherwise it is in great shape, there are no hairline fractures or cracks.
HISTORY: Yellow ware bowls were commonly made from 1850 to 1930 in potteries like Hull, Bennington, Brush McCoy, and Weller. Most yellow ware is not signed, and fell out of favor with American women in the 1930's.
