We are a Platinum Rated Antique Shop with 1000's of Sales - We have Been Featured in Country Home Magazine!
I have wound it just slightly and it has been running for 30 hrs. and it still going strong. ( The alarm went off last night and it is charming. )
It has a grayish-tone enamel on the body, which appears to be original, since it is the same on the inside, outside and the bottom. So I am assuming it is not a repaint, because someone would have had to totally disassemble this clock to do such a professional job.
It has a gold tone face plate and back door. It has a small brass handle on the top. The sides are clear glass so that you can see the mechanism while it is running. The back door opens and you can see all the gears. It has a F and S adjustment at the top to fine tune the running of this clock. The key, for winding, hangs from a hook attached to the inside of the back door.
It measures 5 1/4" wide at the base. It is 6" high by 3 3/4" deep at the base.
I am not a clock expert, so if you have any questions, I will do my best to assist you.
