This is a fun vintage and different NAPIER elephant figural pin. Filigree silver tone filigree "cover" caps a gold tone and red rhinestone bead, which sits on a gold tone setting.

Laying over the elephant's back is a filigree silver tone 'blanket' with dangling faux pearls. A faceted red glass crystal is held aloft with his trunk. It has a brush gold tone surface. i

t is signed NAPIER and the copyright C mark. It is a sparkling vintage figural beauty in fantastic condition!

CONDITION: excellent to mint condition pre-owned condition.

SIZE: The pin is approx. 1 ½” by 1 ½” by ½” deep.

HISTORY: Napier Co. of Meriden,Connecticut has been in business since 1922. This particular mark with the copyright symbol was started in 1955. The Meriden plant closed in 1999, but the company was bought by Jones Apparel group in 2000. They are still producing jewelry, but the mark has changed.
