REDUCED Vintage Whiting Davis Gold Mesh Coin Purse 2960

Here is a vintage Whiting Davis coin purse that has the number 2960, which is believed to be the frame number stamped on it. It also has the Whiting Davis emblem on the frame.

The elegant mesh is in fine condition, no missing links, damaged places, etc. The dimensions are 3.25 tall by 5.5 wide. These are lovely for evening wear. I can remember when I was just a little girl going to our area's "elite" department store and looking at these items in the glass case. I thought they were the most glamorous items I had ever seen and that surely you must be a movie star to own one!

The interior has one side of the sating lining that has come loose. It would be no problem at all to fix, I thought about doing so, but thought maybe the new owner would prefer to do so. There are also a couple of lipstick smudges, but it is still a beautiful piece, and the slight imperfections to the inside are reflected in the price.

This will truly make you feel like a movie star, even if you only star in home movies. :)
