This is a lovely unusual stylized brooch. It has a japanned finish on the metal frame. This has a burr setting with silver backed rhinestones. The rhinestones are a dark blue Aurora finish. This is a large brooch. Measures 2.75" tall and 2" wide. Excellent condition.

Very interesting vintage brooch. The metal is some sort of mixed metal, it resembles nickel silver. There is no pitting in the metal, and the stones are lovely. . The small dark blue rhinestones are channel set. I am going to date this at the early to mid 20th century, saying probably in the 1930's. This has a c Clasp and measures 2" in both directions.
