This stunning natural amber necklace looks like shimmering liquid gold with it's hand cut and highly polished finish, circa 1940. The strand has graduated nuggets, strung on a silk cord and clasp with an amber barrel clasp, which is pictured. Overall it measures 19" long, with nuggets of 1/4" to 1". For the most part the nuggets are clean with great clarity, but there are a few with some tiny inclusions of fossilized material. They are very well matched and none are cloudy. Excellent condition, bold, beautiful and ready to wear. If you love vintage and antique jewelry this strand will surely be a favorite!
