Art Deco 18kt Blue Sapphire & Diamond Ring c1920

Exceptional Art Deco vintage blue sapphire and diamond ring set in a one piece custom cast marked 18K white gold mounting, c 1920. The slightly arched rectangular top features a foliate filigree gallery and the sides are engraved designs typical of the era. All the stones are bead set in a low profile design, making it easy to wear. The three medium-light violet-blue sapphires measure approximately 1.86 carats and the estimated 6 (four on the top and two on the sides) melee diamond weight is .30 carat. The overall condition is very very good, showing some extremely MINOR wear at the facet junctures of the sapphires and some small chipping around the diamonds, only visible under a jeweler’s loupe. To the naked eye this ring appears flawless. The top measures ¾” by ¼” and the ring size is 6.26. It could be re-sized up or down a small degree. We are pleased to offer this “fresh to the market” gem! It has been stored in a safety deposit box for more than 20 years.
