Gorgeous Cornelian (or Carnelian) agate brooch set in a 14K rose gold (tested) frame, dating to the late Victorian era. Stone has a reddish-brown color with matrixing and light banding. The highly polished cabochon stone is accented with an indented and scalloped bezel and rope mount. Original tubular hinge, pin stem and C clasp free of blemishes and repairs. Excellent condition and ready to wear.
