Being offered is a snake brooch, a popular motif in the Victorian era, signifying Eternity. The snake features a genuine pearl mounted in it's head and Etruscan granulation work down it's body. It is coiled around a crescent moon which has three genuine closed back gemstones; a Diamond, Sapphire and Ruby. Very good condition, showing minor wear commensurate with age, slight tarnish. C clasp closure. Measures 1 3/8" by 1".
