RARE Pair Gold Victorian Hair Rings ~ Compartment

Being offered is a rare pair of tested 14K rose gold mourning rings with concealed hair compartments. Either side of the ring has a hinged band which opens up by lightly pulling on the gold balls. The engraved cartouche fronts have never been inscribed and the sides are hand engraved with scroll work and geometric designs. The tightly woven hair is dark brown and in excellent condition. I do not believe these rings were ever worn. Rings sizes are 6.5 and 7. It is very rare to find a matched pair.
