This is a wonderful small gold and crystal locket is oval in shape, with a star burst frame accented with genuine garnets and seed pearls, circa 1790. Part of a recent acquisition of Scottish pebble jewelry, this marked sterling silver dirk brooch features two inlaid agates. At the top the thistle motif is set with a cabochon amethyst gemstone. There is a bit of wear around the thistle and the piece is in unpolished condition. The closure is the old C clasp style. Measurements are 2 5/8” long by ¾” at its widest point. c1840 early Victorian gold filled watch fob with a very large paste stone seated in the top. It also is a watch key with a round end. The ornate mounting has a chased rim and hand engraved floral designs on every other panel around the mid section. Measurements are 1 1/8" long by 5/8" in diameter. There is a small chip in the clear paste stone which is evident in my images, nonetheless it's a fabulous watch fob and watch key.
