SALE Lovely Lefton Fairy, Circa 1957.

This fairy is part of a series of 4 and this one is to celebrate Wind. The series is Sun, Moon, Wind and Rain. Very pretty in green and ivory, the figure appears as being blown by the wind. It measures approximately 4 1/2" tall and is 2 1/2" wide at the base. In excellent condition, (no chips or nicks) "Lefton China, Hand Painted, Rec. U.S. Pat. Off" is stamped on the bottom along with the Lefton hallmark. In addition, "geo lefton, 1957, KW131" is stamped on the bottom in script. There is another word written below the "KW131" but I cannot make it out.

This little fairy makes a welcome addition to any Lefton collection.
