This is one of the newer styles in pierced earrings. They are called ear threads because you thread the pin and chain through your ear and let it hang to the length you desire. These are particularly lovely with a delicate sterling silver butterfly at the bottom, next a Swarovski cone shaped crystal bead followed by a sterling silver round bead. The thread is sterling sliver as is the pin.
