Lot of 15 Vintage Cast Metal Spiles for Maple Syrup Making

Maple Syrup making has made some advancements over the years, but most people like to think of the times where you'd travel through the bush collecting the pails of the precious maple tree sap by hand! Perhaps the tapping spiles were similar to these ones.

This lot of 15 vintage, cast metal spiles, are in really great shape for their age and use!

Condition is better than may be expected, considering their age, and exposure to the weather conditions they must have had!!

Measuring 2 3/4 inches long, 13 out of the 15 spiles still have their original sap pail hooks. The other two have wire replacement hooks.
