SALE Vintage Wooden Cigarette Box/Holder with Inlay Decoration

This beautiful, small, (5 3/4" X 4 1/4" X 2 1/2") wooden box, opens to display 3 tiers of 'shelves', all decorated with wonderful inlay-work to match the lid and front!

We believe this piece to have been originally designed to hold and dispense cigarettes.

Each level of shelf holds 8 cigarettes, (or short pencils, or???) for a total of 24 spaces.

Excellent condition for this type of item! Little wear (corner rubbing), no damage or losses.

Beautiful colour, very nice wood inlay work, great hinges, and even has cork protector corners on the bottom.

Do not know the origin or date of this piece, but what an excellent item for the tobacco, wood, or box collector!
