Huge cup and saucer in the ever popular blue and white colours with a minstrel scene, and "Take ye a cuppe o'kindnesse for auld lang syne." written within.

The cup measures 3 1/8" high, with a rim diameter of 6 inches!

The 'saucer' is more like a soup bowl with sides rising 1 1/4 inches from the table top, and a diameter of 8 inches!

Great condition. No chips or cracks. Some edge staining around the cup rim as is shown in the pictures.

Both pieces are marked: BRITISH ANCHOR, Ye Olde Historical Pottery, STAFFORDSHIRE ENGLAND.
