I have put six great notgeld together in this bunch. There are three bills from stadt Bitterfeld, and one each from Friedrichroda, Paderhorn and Siegburg. These bills were issued after World War I when the value of the national currency was grossly inflated and small towns started to issue their own currency to be used, usually, only in the issuing town.

These small nicely designed notes are fun to collect or they can be re-purposed into a collage or an art project. Nice bit of history!
