The first radio station in the US went on the air in Pittsburgh in 1922 and ushered in The Jazz Age. Louis Armstrong drew out the melody for the era in brass and rich vocals along with a little bit of Scat. And women cut their hair short into bob's and donned Cloche hats, beaded dresses and earrings just like these. Designed to swing just below the hairline in rhythm to the beat. Women were scoffing corsets and wearing pants, poised to claim what was theirs, you go girl!

Made in the height of The Roaring 20's, these earrings have great Art Deco style. Set with two high quality Old European cushion cut diamonds of about .8 carats each, they swing like shooting stars from a dangle of 5 graduated Old Mine cut diamonds. Wonderful! These earrings are French in origin and have the assay marks for France and the Platinum mark. They have posts at the top stone and they are safety backed with stoppers that literally 'clip' on to cover the post completely, this makes them both secure and very comfortable to wear. They hang at 1 inch and weigh 5.3 grams.

This is a fabulous pair of Art Deco earrings which could be worn with everything, from Blue-jeans to Ball-gowns! Impressive, feminine and feeling your own power, just like a woman that golden age.

All overseas shipping is via FedEx.

Please note that in general I do not clean or polish any items before photographing them. I will certainly have my jeweler clean all appropriate items before they are sent out (some items should not be cleaned and I will note this upon purchase). Also, sizing is available on most rings unless otherwise noted. There is a nominal charge and it will add about a day to when the order goes out (sizing is included in any purchase over $2,500). Please inquire if you would like your ring sized.
