Superb Victorian Silver Bangle with Gold Star and Scroll Design

Bangles like this one were de rigueur for Day wear for the Victorian Lady. Collars, lockets, bangles and brooches were made by the thousands. No outfit was complete without them.

This one is just that little bit extra special that I'm always looking for. It has a detailed engraved background pattern and is topped with repoussed 9 karat rose gold star and scroll details. It is 800 silver and has a sturdy clasp and hinge. It is in wonderful condition with no real dings or dents. It weighs 17 grams. Made around 1890. One inch wide it would fit up to a 7.5" wrist. It would be stunning with just about any outfit and goes well with both gold and silver jewelry tones.

All of my items include FREE SHIPPING via UPS Second Day Air for items under $5000, or via UPS Next Day Air for items over $5000. (You are always welcome to upgrade your shipping for a small fee). If you are having a piece mailed to an address outside the US, please be advised the your shipment may require the payment of import tax, please look into it before ordering so you know what your true cost will be. All overseas shipping is via FedEx.

Please note that in general I do not clean or polish any items before photographing them. I will certainly have my jeweler clean all appropriate items before they are sent out (some items should not be cleaned and I will note this upon purchase). Also, sizing is available on most rings unless otherwise noted. There is a nominal charge and it will add about a day to when the order goes out (sizing is included in any purchase over $2,500). Please inquire if you would like your ring sized.
