Beautiful horse head book ends in hand carved rosewood(?). It looks like rosewood to me. They are quite heavy. One has a label on the bottom that says, Goncalo Alvez,Book Ends,$50(the original price). Each head measures about 5 1/2 w x 5 1/4 h x 1 5/8 thick inches. Very good condition. They have a beautiful patina. We have not polished these. The grains of the wood are beautiful. A perfect gift for the equestrian in your life! Definitely one of a kind.
