As the song lyrics state, "It must have been moonglow" that inspired this delightful brooch and earring set. I came across this when I was buying some Sherman jewelry from a lady who was cleaning out her grandmother's estate, and immediately took a liking to it.

It's an unsigned set but oh those moonglow stones! Such a gorgeous blue shade! The moonglow stones are 3/8" long and accented by clear blue rhinestones in both the brooch and the screw-on earrings.

The brooch measures 1 3/4" inches from side to side but the actual centerpiece is 1 1/4" long by 3/4" wide. The dainty matching earrings are 3/4" long by just under 1/2" wide. The silver-toned spokes emanating from the moonglow stones contribute to the overall delicacy of this set which has a silver-toned backing showing very little wear.

Who knows why grandma had this one in her collection. Did she ever wear it? Going by its condition, you wouldn't think so.
