Outstanding 14k Ruby & Diamond Cocktail Ring

Arguably one of the most beautiful ruby rings in our current collection of fine cocktail and evening jewelry, this 14k white gold vintage estate ruby and diamond ring is exquisite. The pictures do most of the talking - yes - it's as beautiful as shown - so we will share with you the simple facts about this stunning ring.

Centered width-ways is one dazzling natural poppy-red oval cut ruby! It measures 5.54 x 4.79mm, which by calculation is approximately 0.60cts. Its clarity is super fine - absolutely no eye-visible inclusions whatsoever - this is a crystal clear gem! Its red color, being pleochroic in nature, flashes fiery orangy-red to deep bluish-red depending on what lighting surrounds it! Just gorgeous!!

Encircling the ruby are 28 brilliantly white natural diamonds totally an estimated 0.45 - 0.50cts. There are 4 VS clarity baguettes and 24 round brilliant cuts that average VS2-Si1 clarity. All these diamonds are matching in color, which ranges F-G-H on the color scale - colorless to near colorless!! These are all high-quality diamonds!!

The whole setting is in 14k white gold and is stamped '14k', along with another mark which we can't make out due to wear...'JDE' or 'IPF'...?? We don't know, but assume they are the maker's marks.
