That's exactly what happened with this outstanding diamond ring with a total diamond weight of 1.07cts, and for which the appraisal, done in February 2009, came in at $4875 CAD or just over $4300 USD at the current exchange rate. We were floored. We had no idea this beauty was worth that much. We were even more pleased that the jeweler seriously wanted to buy it from us. But we refused because we wanted to offer to our customers here at Ruby Lane.

So here's what you need to know and the rest is in the appraisal, shown in photo #9. Double-click on it and all the photos to see the details.

By our ring-sizer, this ring is a size 6, but for accuracy, the inner diameter is 18mm and can be re-sized. This ring is actually 3 rings, with the center engagement ring housing a brilliant 0.32ct marquise shaped diamond measuring 6.15 X 3.75 X 2.36mm and with a clarity of Si-1 and H color.

Flanking that marquise engagement ring on either side and professionally soldered to it are two other rings, each with 11 round brilliant cut diamonds. When added to the 10 diamonds accenting the marquise diamond, you get a further total of 32 diamonds with a weight of 0.75cts. These diamonds are of superb quality being VS-1 to Si-1 and F-G color.

Altogether, the diamond weight in this triple ring is 1.07cts set in 14k yellow gold and with a total weight of 5.80grams. The bands have a high polish finish. The overall width at the base of the band is approximately 6mm widening to 8mm at the top where the marquise crowns this fantastic triple ring.
