This pretty piece is a total of 16" long, and is made up of 58 6mm angel skin coral beads, with 8 genuine amethyst beads and 16 gold-colored spacers to provide an interesting contrast to the soft blush pink/white coral beads.

And dangling from the center of the necklace is a beautifully carved flowery pendant about 1.5" long by at most 3/4" wide.

Please take a close look at all the photos, especially the one of the pendant: it will show you a section where some of the coral has either broken off or fallen out. That photo proves you have real coral here as you can see the formations inside the break. You'll also notice some dark discoloration. As near as we can make it, that's dirt that's gotten inside and we have found no way to clean it out. I point these out as we always disclose as much as possible any issues with our jewelry. So if you need a perfect piece of coral, please be aware of the faults in this one.

And now for the good news: these faults aren't really noticeable unless you look for them. They're on the side. Since what others see when you wear this necklace is the front, very few people will notice this. What they will see is a very lovely angel skin coral necklace with a prettily carved pendant in an unusual design.

The clasp is secure and is stamped silver but its color is more golden than silver. I suspect this one has been re-threaded at some point but that's all for the good: less likely to break as some of these older pieces do.
