Incredible Multi-color D & E "Juliana" Necklace to die for!

If this isn't one of the most beautiful Juliana necklaces by D & E that you've even seen, then I must be missing something! What I do know is that when it comes to designer vintage costume jewelry, multi-colored stones in one piece are hard to find and highly desired. Well that's what we have in this necklace ... and it's absolutely gorgeous!

Measuring 15" long, this necklace is a marvellous assortment of colors: fuschia-toned aurora borealis round-cuts lead to a dazzling centerpiece that is 7 3/4" long and is comprised of slender charcoal gray/olivine navettes played against brilliantly red 1/2" marquise cuts offset by clusters of clear white rhinestones.

There are 3 one-inch long clusters set either side of the central cluster which hangs to a finished length over 1 1/2". All the stones in this necklace are clear and the glitter is fantastic. This is a true showpiece necklace. I only wish I'd been able to find earrings that go with it. Maybe you already have those and are looking for this necklace?

The rhodium-plate backing on the necklace is still in good condition with only a couple of wear spots. The closure is the standard J-hook.

The construction of the necklace with its extended connection bar link i.e. skip chain, and the open-backed navettes confirm this is a genuine Juliana. I could be wrong but it looks to be the exact one shown on page 27 of "The Art of Juliana Jewelry". You can line the necklace up with the photo and they're identical,even down to some spots on the plating.

I was terribly excited to acquire this Juliana necklace for its overall beauty, condition and the wonderful combination of multi-colored stones.
