If you're into large brooches with large stones and vibrant colors, this marvellous brooch by Delizza & Elster is for you.

Measuring 2 1/4" by 2 1/4" in a triangular pattern, this brooch plays 3 colors of open-backed large stones against each other in a layered construction. Rich greens are juxtaposed against vibrant oranges and topped by 3 large deep amber stones. Those 4-sided amber stones are 3/4' long! The marquise-cut green and orange stones range from 1/2" to 5/8" long. There are also 9 multi-colored aurora borealis round cuts in the bottom layer and the whole design revolves around a single large Aurora Borealis stone in the center of the brooch. What a fabulous display of color!

D & E devotees will recognize the usual construction elements found in the "Juliana" style: the open-backed setting for the stones and the figure 8 puddling. The back is finished in bright gold-plate and overall, this brooch is in great vintage condition with secure pin closing.
