Made of solid, heavy 14k yellow and white gold, this 12.20 gram ring boasts a glorious unheated/untreated natural 1.95ct sapphire with the most stunning deep peacock greenish-blue color I've ever seen. This stone has not been heated to enhance its color or clarity making it very rare!!! Most sapphires with a green hue are murky and tend to be yellowish or brownish, but this color is so brilliant and pure, as can be seen in our pictures.

Its clarity helps this, being completely 'eye-clean' (meaning VVS) and its cut 'good'. Per the appraisal, the color is stated as: medium dark, slightly grayish, very slightly greenish blue colour (GIA vslgB 6/2). This is one exciting ring!!! The sapphire, in millimeters measures 8 x 6 x 3.75.

Accentuating this gorgeous sapphire are 1.42cts in princess and baguette cut diamonds. That's just under 1 1/2 cts in diamonds!!! There are 4 princess cuts, each of approximately 0.175ct for a total of 0.71cts, with VS1 to VS2 clarity and F-G color (both very high gradings), and measuring on average 3.10 x 3.05mm square. Then down each side of the ring are 6 (3 per side) channel-set baguette cut diamonds, measuring 4.2 x 2.00mm on average for another 0.71cts. Their clarity is VS to SI and their color G - again, high quality gradings!

The emerald-cut sapphire is set in a 14k WHITE GOLD head, while the remainder of the ring is 14k yellow gold. The ring was acid tested, as it is not stamped (or has worn off), and the carat content is stated in the appraisal. Altogether, between the sapphire and diamonds there are 3.37cts in precious gemstones, and again, the ring weighs 12.20 grams - not a light weight!

Currently a US size 5, though small right now, there is SO MUCH gold in this ring that re-sizing won't problematic!
