A spectacle for all to see! This is a brilliant, very rich-looking genuine oval cut blue sapphire and trillion cut diamond ring set in luscious hand assembled custom made 18k yellow gold setting! An estate piece, this gorgeous ring is in extremely fine condition, and is ready to be worn as a right-hand, engagement, anniversary or every-day showpiece!

It is breathtaking, and the pictures DO this one justice for all to see its stunning beauty!

Per the appraisal: Set in the center is the oval mixed cut natural blue sapphire, measuring 7.6 x 5.9mm, with an approximate weight of 1.24ct. Note: This stone was originally weighed out of its setting, as we had the claws re-tipped to make sure this gem was held in place securely. At that time the loose sapphire weighed in at 1.48cts, but due to the stone being certified "in-setting", there is a variation between the loose & set weight due to the setting. The appraisal states 1.24ct, but numerous times loose it weighed in at 1.48ct.

Its clarity is completely eye-clean (as can be seen in the pictures), graded as type II "slightly included", and its color spectacularly blue, blue, blue (GIA B 6/4) ! Its saturation and tone are very strong and the sapphire bounces its color at every angle! This sapphire is truly so stunning with a royal blue we all search for in sapphires!

Tightly and closely positioned on either side of the sapphire are two sparkling trillion cut diamonds, weighing approximately 0.145ct each, for a total diamond carat weight of 0.29ct. These wonderful gems are of excellent VS2-Si2 clarity and white G-H color and are a delicious accent to the sapphire!

To cap off the quality of the stones is the 18k yellow gold setting, which is stamped on the band and has been acid tested. This style is classic and undying, with sapphires being placed alongside diamonds for centuries. This ring screams beauty & elegance and can't be found in any anchor store for this price without sacrificing either gem or metal quality.

Though currently a small size 4 1/2, this ring is easily sizable (will comfortably size up 3.5 sizes - our jeweler has confirmed this), and does not look to have been re-sized at any point in its past ownership.
