REDUCED SUPERB Ornate Certified Natural Ruby Diamond Ring

If Ruby is the new Green, here is one of most gorgeous 'green' rubies we've ever offered!! Poppy red color, incredible clarity, set in a heavily detailed 14k gold and diamond mounting! Definitely a personal favourite of mine (what can I say, I'm a sucker for rubies!), I'm finally offering this one to our Ruby Lane clientele as I feel spoiled holding on to it!

Certified for an impressive $5,650.00 CAD (currently over $5,200.00 USD), the round brilliant cut natural ruby measures 5.96 x 5.95 x 3.98mm for an approximate 1.13ct. This ruby is stunningly clean to the naked eye - only under magnification can natural inclusions be seen. It's rare to come across rubies this clean. The color seems to mix in different lighting from poppy red to slightly orangy red to slight purplish-pink-red.

Bead & bezel set throughout the gold are 24 natural round brilliant cut diamonds that total just over 1/2 carat, at 0.51ct approximately. They are graded extremely high in color - E to F (the highest you can get is 'D') and clean Si2-I1 clarity, all with 'good' cuts.

The filigreed 14k yellow gold mounting is ornate and heavy, weighing 7.20g with the gems. The gold is very thick and shows only minimal wear to the underside of the band. Gold this thick doesn't wear down quickly. The ring is currently a US size 5 1/2 (16.14mm inner diameter) and is sizable. The thickest part of the ring is the top, which at its widest measures 8.68mm. Even the narrowest section of the band measures a wide 3.5mm!

All round, this is a high-quality, well made, valuable piece of jewelry. No, this ruby isn't really 'green', but your friends will be green with envy when they lay their eyes on this one!!
