SOLD Estate 14k Gold Pin features large Pink Stone - Very Classy!

From a private estate sale in Washington DC comes this exceptional 14k gold pin, dating to the 1950's or 1960's. It appears to have been made with a piece/fragment of a Victorian/ Edwardian Era lavalier or Stickpin as its focal point.

Weighing 6.65 grams, the pin measures 1 1/4" high by just under 1" wide. Looking like a small oval picture frame with lovely finishing, it surrounds a pendant (for lack of a better word) containing a beautifully faceted 6mm X 4mm pink stone set loosely in a leafy gold bezel.

Utterly classy, this unique handcrafted piece of 14k gold jewelry is bound to satisfy those who love pins or brooches with harder to find gemstones.

We've priced this to SELL. It's now well below our cost. With the present high price on gold, a refiner would pay me more than I'm asking here just to melt it down! Please don't let this happen to a lovely old pin like this one. Thanks for looking!
