When I was a young professional who had to dress up every day to go to work, I wore lots of beads. Beads were so in style back in the 70's and strongly colored beads were just the way to add a touch of femininity to a business suit.

But back then, I didn't know about chalcedony beads. It took getting into designer vintage jewelry to discover how incredibly beautiful chalcedony beads are. We offered a lovely grey set a little while back and now we have this glorious set of blue chalcedony beads to offer those of you who love them.

This strand is 30" long and made up of translucent royal or cornflower blue beads that are about 3/8" in diameter. Then, separating sets of 3 or 4 beads are 14k gold spacers, one large spiral-designed spacer set between 2 tiny 14 gold balls. The color combination is electrifying!

The locking clasp is ornate and secure and stamped 14k in two places. Weighing 100 grams of superb chalcedony and 14k, this is quality through and through. You'll love it!
