SALE Early Vintage Mexican Coin Silver & Carved Green Stone Shell Earrings

This fine early vintage pair of Mexican earrings are faintly marked under the screw pads SILVER MEXICO. I tested the metal and in my opinion the silver content is less than sterling grade, probably coin grade silver between 800-900 in content. The earring screw backs are not testing as silver and are probably alpaca, aka nickel. The stone is the color of jade but has not been tested to confirm. They are carved to resemble a shell like form.

The earrings combined weight is 17.7 gr. Each earring face measures 1" x 1.125" and is approximately .25" thick. They are non pierced screw backs.

A substantial and attractive pair of vintage Mexican earrings.
