SALE Large Victorian Light Weight Wool Paisley Shawl or Table Cloth

This is a lovely large old Victorian period light weight wool challis shawl that I have found makes a perfect table cover as well. It is almost square, measuring approximately 64" x 62" plus a 4" long fringe on 2 sides. The back ground color is a warm ocher brown covered with an all over pattern of stylized paisleys in red, pink, gold, green, cream and mauve. The individual paisleys each measure about 1" long.

Condition: The fabric is very light weight wool. There are several thin areas and small holes sprinkled through out and a small tear in from one edge. The holes are most noticeable only when held up to the light. If backed with a light weight silk lining on one side It would be quite usable.

This textile has such warm earthy colors, it would be perfect for fall whether worn or used on a table.
