This is an antique late Victorian period memorial locket with a gold filled case, and with turquoise glass cabochons set in a center field of sterling silver on one side, and a glass covered compartment on the other side. The gold filled case is covered with a decorative floral and foliage pattern. The inner rim of the glass covered compartment has a textural chain pattern. The compartment is empty except for the silk backing. The top bail mimics the style of packet watches.

The pendant measures 1.5" tall, including the decorative bail, by .75" across. Without the bail and ball on top the locket measures 1" tall.

Condition is good.

A sweet sentimental piece from the past.
